Wireless Network Engineer – Ekahau / Cisco / Aruba Location:On-siteEmployment Type:Full-timeJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced and detail-orientedWireless Network Engineerwith deep expertise inWi-Fi planning, design, deployment, and troubleshootingusingEkahau tools(Sidekick, AI Pro), and a strong background in enterpriseCisco and Aruba wireless infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-performance wireless connectivity across complex enterprise environments.⸻Key Responsibilities:Wireless Network Design & Planning: • UseEkahau AI ProandEkahau Sidekickto perform predictive and on-site wireless site surveys. • Analyze RF coverage, capacity planning, channel planning, and spectrum analysis. • Create detailed wireless network designs and heatmaps based on physical environment and user density.Deployment & Configuration: • Configure and deploy wireless solutions usingCisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs),Cisco Catalyst APs, andAruba Instant / Aruba Central-managed APs. • Fine-tune wireless settings including SSIDs, authentication methods, roaming parameters, QoS, and RF profiles. • Implement and support wireless security protocols (WPA2/WPA3-Enterprise, 802.1X, etc.).Troubleshooting & Optimization: • Perform on-site and remote RF troubleshooting using Ekahau Sidekick and spectrum analysis tools. • Identify and resolve issues related to interference, coverage holes, co-channel interference (CCI), and roaming performance. • Continuously optimize wireless networks for performance, reliability, and user experience.Monitoring & Maintenance: • Monitor network health using tools such as Cisco Prime, Cisco DNA Center, Aruba AirWave, or Aruba Central. • Perform firmware upgrades, patch management, and periodic audits. • Document network designs, configurations, and test results thoroughly.Collaboration & Support: • Work closely with network engineers, security teams, facilities, and end-users during deployment and support. • Provide technical support and mentoring to junior team members. • Assist in planning for capacity upgrades and future wireless initiatives.Required Skills & Qualifications: •3–7 yearsof experience in enterprise wireless network design and deployment. • Proficiency withEkahau tools:Ekahau AI Pro,Sidekick,Ekahau Cloud. • Strong hands-on experience withCisco wireless networks(Catalyst, WLCs, Meraki optional). • Solid working knowledge ofAruba wireless infrastructure(Instant, Aruba Central, AirWave). • Deep understanding ofWi-Fi standards(802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax), RF fundamentals, and spectrum analysis. • Experience with wireless authentication and security protocols (WPA2/WPA3, RADIUS, 802.1X). • Familiarity withLAN/WAN, VLANs, switching, and firewall interactions in wireless environments. • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.#teceze #itservices
