Sales Engineer

Job Requirements:- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in technical sales or business development, preferably in the industrial, automation, or related sectors. Experience in Filtration Field preferred - Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. - Familiarity with the South Indian market, specifically in Bangalore and surrounding regions. - Entry Into Pharma sector, mainly located in Karnataka, AP, TelanganaJob Description- Identify and develop new business opportunities in filtration systems across South India. - Conduct market research and competitor analysis to position Gopani products effectively. - Generate leads, follow up on inquiries, and convert prospects into customers. - Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate filtration products (cartridge filters, bag filters, housings, etc.). - Prepare and deliver technical presentations to clients, showcasing product capabilities. - Collaborate with the design and application engineering team to propose customized solutions. - Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, including troubleshooting and training. - Attend industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to represent Gopani and expand network. - Maintain CRM records, sales forecasts, and activity reports. - Coordinate with internal teams for order processing, logistics, and customer service.Personal Attributes:- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a proactive approach to sales. - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with customers. - High degree of integrity and professionalism. - The position requires extensive travel within South India, including customer meetings, site visits, and industry events.Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, or Malayalam will be an added advantage.Soft Skills Requirements:(List required interpersonal skills, communication abilities, and other soft skills.)- Strong technical aptitude - Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. - Strong problem-solving and customer service skills. - Proficient in MS Office, CRM software, and other sales tools. - Willingness to travel extensively within the South India region.Educational Qualification:(Specify the minimum educational qualifications needed for the role.)- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Preferably Mechanical or Chemical) - MBA in Sales/Marketing (optional).Candidates' Base Location:(Preferred or required location of the candidates.)
