We are looking for a skilled Deployment Engineer with expertise in cybersecurity tools to join our team.


Job Summary: As a Deployment Engineer specializing in cybersecurity tools, you will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, and optimization of our cybersecurity solutions. You will work closely with development, security operations, and client teams to ensure the seamless integration and effective functioning of our cybersecurity products. Your role will involve automating deployment processes, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the robustness and reliability of our security tools.


Responsibilities :


  • Deploy, configure, and maintain cybersecurity tools and solutions across various environments (development, testing, staging, production).
  • The candidate should have practical, hands-on experience in implementing and managing tools.
  • Proficiency in configuring, deploying, and optimizing the tools to enhance organizational security posture is essential.
  • Collaborate with security operations and development teams to integrate cybersecurity tools into the existing infrastructure and workflows.
  • Monitor the performance and effectiveness of deployed security tools, responding to incidents and resolving issues promptly.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation related to deployment processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • A strong understanding of troubleshooting methodologies and techniques related to cyber security products is required.
  • The candidate should be self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently to address security-related challenges. Enable Techbridge products to be deployed through automate deployment processes using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Docker, and Kubernetes in future.
  • Practical knowledge of implementing tools such as SIEM, EDR/XDR (Endpoint Detection and Response/Extended Detection and Response) & NDR will be an advantage.


Detailed Description:


  • Deployment and Configuration: Hands on experience on Deployment and configuration of tools. Configure them for customer use case.
  • Security Monitoring: Monitor security systems, including intrusion detection systems (IDS), firewalls, and SIEM tools, for signs of security incidents. Respond to security alerts and incidents promptly, investigating and taking appropriate action as needed.
  • Incident Response: Participate in incident response activities, including identification, containment, eradication, and recovery. Collaborate with the incident response team to mitigate security breaches effectively.
  • Vulnerability Assessment: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify weaknesses in the organization's systems and applications. Assist in prioritizing and addressing vulnerabilities based on their severity.
  • Security Analysis: Analyze security event data and identify suspicious or malicious activity. Generate reports and alerts based on security findings and recommend improvements to enhance security posture.
  • Security Policies and Procedures: Assist in the development, documentation, and enforcement of security policies, procedures, and standards. Promote security awareness and training among employees.
  • Security Tools and Technologies: Manage and configure security tools and technologies, ensuring they operate effectively and efficiently. Stay updated on emerging security threats and technologies.
  • Compliance and Auditing: Support compliance efforts with industry regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, PCI-DSS) by conducting audits and assessments. Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure adherence to security standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of security incidents, actions taken, and lessons learned. Document security procedures and guidelines for future reference.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in Deployment.
  • Proven experience as a Deployment Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role with a focus on cybersecurity tools.
  • understanding of cybersecurity principles, tools, and best practices will be an added advantage
  • Proficiency in Manual deployment.
  • Knowledge of automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) will be an advantage.
  • Experience with cybersecurity tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, antivirus, and vulnerability management solutions.
  • Solid scripting skills (Bash, Python, PowerShell, etc.).
  • Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)) are a plus.
