Area Sales Manager


Job Description:


- Are you passionate about making a difference in the healthcare industry? We are seeking a dynamic Area Sales Manager to lead and drive sales for our Cardiology Division.

- In this managerial role, you will be instrumental in shaping our sales strategy and fostering a high-performing sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership:

- Oversee and manage the sales team within the assigned region, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and fostering a culture of excellence.

- Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to team members.

Strategic Planning:

- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies tailored to the cardiology market, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.

Conduct regular SWOT analyses to adapt strategies based on market conditions and competitive landscape.

Market Analysis:

- Monitor market trends and emerging technologies within the cardiology sector, identifying new opportunities for growth and expansion.

- Conduct thorough competitor analysis to develop tactics that position our products advantageously.

Client Relationships:

- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with healthcare professionals, hospitals, and clinics, establishing the company as a trusted partner in patient care.

- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that enhance their operations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Work closely with marketing, product development, and regulatory teams to ensure alignment on product offerings and market positioning.

- Engage with customer service and support teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.

Performance Tracking:

- Establish and monitor KPIs for the sales team, utilizing data analytics to track progress and inform strategic decisions.

- Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Training and Development:

- Identify training needs and facilitate ongoing development opportunities for sales team members to enhance their skills and product knowledge.

- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within the team.

Requirements:

- Experience: Minimum 5 years in sales of Cardiology Products or relevant medical fields, with a proven track record of success in a managerial role.

- Specialization: Experience with cardiology products is essential; familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards is a plus.

Skills:

- Strong leadership and people management abilities, with a focus on team building and motivation.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and negotiating at all levels.

- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop actionable solutions.

- Education: MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly desirable.
