Job description:

LTIMindtree is hiring highly skilled AWS DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Python to join our growing team. You will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our AWS infrastructure, developing CICD pipelines, and automating processes to enhance the efficiency and reliability of our software development lifecycle. This position requires a solid understanding of AWS services, DevOps methodologies, and Python scripting.


About the Role:

Key Responsibilities


  • AWS Infrastructure Management:
  • Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
  • Optimize cloud costs and resource usage while maintaining performance and security.
  • CICD Pipeline Development:
  • Build, maintain, and enhance CICD pipelines using AWS services like CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
  • Automate deployment processes to ensure seamless delivery of code to production.
  • Integrate automated testing, monitoring, and alerting into the CICD pipelines.
  • Automation Scripting:
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools in Python to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Automate routine tasks including environment provisioning, deployments, and monitoring.
  • Collaboration Support:
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure best practices in DevOps and cloud infrastructure.
  • Provide support in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to infrastructure and deployments.
  • Educate and guide teams on the effective use of AWS services and DevOps practices.
  • Security, Networking, Compliance:
  • Implement and enforce security best practices within the AWS environment.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (e.g., VPC, Load Balancing, NACL) using different networking services of AWS.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay updated on the latest AWS services, DevOps trends, and best practices.
  • Machine Learning (Optional):
  • Different types of Machine Learning techniques such as Supervised, Unsupervised, Classification, Regression.
  • Pipeline of Machine Learning Development Process.
  • Evaluation of Machine Learning Models and how to address Overfitting/Underfitting.


Qualifications:

Key Qualifications


  • Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • 6-8 years of experience in DevOps with a focus on AWS cloud services.
  • Proficiency in Python for automation scripting and tool development.
  • Strong experience with AWS DevOps tools and services including but not limited to EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, CodePipeline, and RDS.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
  • Solid understanding of CICD practices and tools.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of AWS cloud architecture and services.
  • Proficient in Git and version control systems.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
  • Knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect
  • Any relevant Python certifications
