Qualifications

This position requires a bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, mass communications, or a related field. You should have at least 3 years of experience in writing proposals, grants, or similar documents for various industries and sectors. You should also have a portfolio of previous work samples that demonstrate your writing skills and abilities. Working with US based customers is an added advantage.


Required skills and qualifications

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to adhere to brand voice, tone, and style guidelines

Excellent organization and communication skills, both written and oral

Solid background in Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as other relevant software and tools

Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, as well as the ability to work well in a team

Ability to work on tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Westernized thinking and cultural alignment are preferred


Preferred qualifications

8+ years of prior relevant experience in proposal writing or a similar role

Exceptional written and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to persuade and influence others

Knowledge of best practices and trends in proposal writing and design

Certification or training in proposal writing or related fields
