We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team and help build, manage, and optimize our data systems and pipelines. The ideal candidate is passionate about data, has a strong technical background, and thrives in a collaborative environment. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to ensure data flows smoothly and securely throughout the organization.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and provide solutions.
- Build and maintain databases and data warehouses to support analytics and reporting.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all systems.
- Implement and optimize data storage solutions for performance and scalability.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in data pipelines and systems.
- Document data workflows, processes, and best practices.
- Stay updated on emerging trends, tools, and technologies in data engineering.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala.
- Strong experience with SQL and database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Hands-on experience with big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with ETL tools and workflows (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend, Informatica).
- Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and schema design.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
