The ideal candidate will have in-depth technical expertise inz/OS ,z/VM , andMainframe infrastructure components , with proven experience in system-level configuration, performance tuning, and maintenance of enterprise mainframe environments.Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintainIBM z/OSand related mainframe subsystems (JES2, RACF, SMP/E, VTAM, TCP/IP). ApplyPTFs, maintenance upgrades, and system patches . Managesystem initialization ,storage management , andresource configuration . Troubleshoot complexsystem-level and performanceissues. Supportdisaster recovery planningandsystem availability improvements . Collaborate with development, operations, and performance teams to ensure stability and scalability.Required Technical Skills Strong expertise inz/OS System Programming . Hands-on withJCL, SMP/E, PARMLIB, PROCLIB, SYS1 datasets . Exposure toRACF Security Administration . Knowledge ofMainframe Networking (TCP/IP, VTAM) . Experience withMainframe Storage Management (SMS, DFSMS, DFHSM)preferred. Familiarity withPerformance & Capacity Management toolsis an added advantage.Eligibility Minimum6 yearsof experience as aMainframe System Programmer . Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
