Role & Responsibilities:

• In this role, you will work closely with the software development and product teams to deliver high-quality, scalable products deployable to consumers.

• Define Device product features, road map and product backlog in collaboration with the Product Owner, that span across key XR Device customer journeys, aligning with tech and non-tech partner teams on priorities, and resource commitments.

• Conduct Market Research: Build and leverage strong processes to stay connected and gather feedback from various stakeholders both within Tesseract and outside that mold the roadmap.

• Should have good experience in SOC-based hardware design & can be able to take them into production.

• Experience in working with JDM/ODM partners in the design, manufacture, testing, specifications and delivery of next-generation hardware solutions.

• Engage, communicate, and collaborate with various stakeholders including Software core services, DCX team, Hardware team and other teams within Tesseract to understand their requirements and objectives, to drive new device capabilities based on the long-term product vision consumer needs, and organizational priorities.

• Manage the product lifecycle from inception to execution, launch, and landing. Specifically, manage the device deliveries and product development execution across a cross-functional team with a strong product mindset.

• Define and Detail Product features to the minutest detail and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to get the features executed.

• Setup well-defined, strong cross-functional teams with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely, high-quality device delivery on a large-scale

• Ability to balance between building visionary features vs core features today that will drive adoption and engagement of devices in the market

• Lead future-looking product initiatives to build next-generation XR Devices partnering with other internal product teams across Software and Design.


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience.

• B.E / M.E / B.Tech or equivalent or MCA or MBA from reputed universities with a consistently good academic record

• 8+ years of experience in Product or Program management experience leading a Hardware Product/ Device - ideally in a high-performance computing space

• Experience working within an agile development team, leveraging experimentation, and prototyping while continuing to measure and iterate

• This role requires excellent written and oral communication skills, data-driven analyses and insights, excellent business judgment, strong interpersonal skills, a deep curiosity about how things work, and a passion for building excellent products and consumer experiences.
