JOB DETAILS
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Checker to ensure that our jewelry products meet the highest standards of quality before reaching our customers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of jewelry materials, craftsmanship, and design, as well as an excellent eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect Jewelry: Examine various types of jewelry (gold, diamonds, gemstones, etc.) for defects in design, structure, and finish.
Quality Control Standards: Verify that all products meet company and industry standards for quality, including adherence to design specifications, craftsmanship, and material purity.
Assess Stones and Gemstones: Ensure stones are correctly set, with no chips, cracks, or flaws. Check for the clarity, color, and cut of diamonds and other gemstones.
Test Materials: Conduct or oversee tests for material quality, including gold purity, hardness of metals, and authenticity of gemstones.
Compliance: Ensure that all jewelry products comply with legal requirements, such as hallmarking for precious metals and certification for diamonds and gemstones.
Requirements:
Experience: 2+ years of experience in jewelry quality control, manufacturing, or a related position.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of gemstones, precious metals, and jewelry design principles.
Attention to detail and ability to spot defects in small items.
Familiarity with quality control processes and equipment.
Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
