About our Company

Alchelyst Limited (the Firm) is new entrant into the Alternative Fund Servicing space. It is Headquartered in Dublin, Ireland and has an office in India, Luxembourg and US.

The firm shall provide traditional/full, middle and back-office fund administration services to Irish regulated, European and third country domiciled Alternative Investment Funds ("AIFS").

Firm / Group

The Firm will target clients across the Hedge, Closed Ended (Private Equity and Real Estate), Hybrid Fund services market. The target client pool is in line with many of our competitors, but the Firm has the unique advantage of starting with a green field site.

The team have carefully identified the best of breed cloud-based technologies which can not only facilitate the current administration requirements demanded by clients but also stay resilient and scalable for years to come. 

Role Description

As a QA Engineer, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the quality, reliability, performance, and security of our platform. You'll work closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to define testing strategies, build automated test suites, and uphold quality standards across the development lifecycle

Job Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Execution

  • Design and implement test plans for backend services, workflow engines, and integration layers ensuring industry regulations.
  • Develop automated test suites for functional, regression, and performance testing.
  • Execute manual testing for complex workflows and edge cases where automation is insufficient.

Collaboration & Quality Advocacy

  • Work closely with engineers to understand system architecture and identify risk areas.
  • Participate in design and code reviews to ensure testability and quality considerations are embedded early.
  • Collaborate with product and operations teams to validate business logic and user flows.

Tooling & Infrastructure

Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines with integrated testing and reporting.

Monitor test coverage, system performance, and error rates across environments.

Contribute to observability and alerting strategies to catch issues early in production.

Compliance & Security

  • Ensure testing practices align with financial services compliance requirements.
  • Validate permissioning, audit logging, and data integrity across workflows.

Required Qualifications, and skills

  • 4+ years of experience in QA or software testing, ideally in fintech or private markets.
  • Strong experience with automated testing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and test integration tools.
  • Experience testing systems with AI/ML components or agentic workflows is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Experience with test automation tools
  • Prior experience in financial institutions or fintech startups would be a plus
