Microsoft O365 EngineerLocation: MumbaiJob Description O365 L1 Resource O365 Key Responsibilities Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled L2 O365 Support Engineer to provide intermediate-level support and administration of core Microsoft O365 applications. This role involves triaging escalated service desk tickets, collaborating with L3 engineers, and ensuring seamless end-user productivity across email, collaboration, storage, and communication platformsKey Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Exchange Online, including mailbox access, email delivery failures, and transport rules Support OneDrive for Business: sync issues, access permissions, data recovery, and sharing configurations Manage SharePoint Online site access, permissions, library errors, and integration with Microsoft Teams Provide assistance with Microsoft Teams: meeting scheduling, chat synchronization, call quality, and app integrations Collaborate with L1 support teams to escalate unresolved incidents and ensure timely ticket resolution Assist in O365 license provisioning, group assignments, and mailbox migrations Maintain documentation for troubleshooting guides, user FAQs, and platform updates Perform periodic health checks across O365 services and generate usage reports Ensure adherence to IT security and compliance standards during user provisioning and collaboration setups Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions to train junior support staff RequiredSkills: Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Admin Center and Exchange Admin Console Proficiency in handling O365 core services from a support and configuration standpoint Strong communication and troubleshooting skills for hybrid and cloud environments Ability to interpret logs and error messages to identify root causes across O365 tools Familiarity with basic PowerShell for O365 administration and reporting (bonus) Customer-focused with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for escalations or major incidents. Perform backup, monitoring, and reporting on system health and usage. Stay up to date with new Microsoft 365 updates, features, and best practices.Required Skills: Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 admin portal and PowerShell scripting. Experience with Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams administration. Understanding of identity and access management in Azure AD. Familiarity with M365 security & compliance center. Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. Experience with Intune (mobile device and application management) is a plus.
