Role Description:
- This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Engagement Manager located in Pune at Sphinx Worldbiz Limited.
- The Senior Engagement Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing client projects, ensuring timely delivery, maintaining client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to provide effective solutions.
- This role involves strategic planning, project management, and client communication to drive successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities for PLC control panels across various industrial sectors.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, acting as the primary point of contact for all sales-related activities.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a sales team to achieve departmental goals, providing guidance, motivation, and training.
- Technical Expertise: Understand client needs and provide suitable technical solutions involving PLC control panels.
Liaise with the technical team to ensure client requirements are met.
- Project Management: Oversee the entire sales process from inquiry to delivery, ensuring timely execution of projects and customer satisfaction.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer demands, and competitive landscape.
Provide insights to improve product offerings and sales approaches.
- Negotiation & Contracts: Lead negotiations with clients, ensuring favorable terms while maintaining profitable margins.
- Customer Support: Ensure that post-sale customer support is managed effectively, addressing issues related to product performance or service requirements.
Key Requirements:
- Education: MBA preferred, Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, or related field.
- Experience: 10-15 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years focused on PLC control panels or related products.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of PLC control panels, industrial automation systems, and electrical controls.
- Sales Acumen: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with an in-depth understanding of B2B sales processes in industrial markets.
- Leadership Skills: Experience leading and managing sales teams, with the ability to drive performance and motivate team members.
- Communication & Negotiation: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Customer Focus: Demonstrated ability to understand and meet customer needs, with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Travel: Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, project discussions, and industry events
