
Presales Solutions Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Solution Engineer to join our Global Presales team. In this pivotal role, you'll be the technical expert during the sales process, bridging the gap between our clients' business needs and our technical solutions. You'll partner with our sales team to scope, design, and articulate compelling technical solutions that will win new business and make a tremendous impact on our growth and scale over the next 3-5 years.- Contribute to Sales Growth: Consistently achieve or exceed team sales targets by providing critical technical expertise and building trust with prospects. - Increase Win Rate: Improve the company's proposal win rate through effective solution design, compelling demonstrations, and clear communication of technical value. - Enhance Solution Quality: Design solutions that are not only aligned with client needs but also technically sound and feasible for the delivery team to implement.Improve Sales Efficiency: Streamline the technical sales cycle by proactively addressing potential obstacles and providing timely, accurate information to the sales team and clients- Discovery and Analysis: Conduct in-depth discovery sessions with prospective clients to understand their business challenges, technical requirements, and long-term objectives. - Solution Design: Architect and design high-level e-commerce and ERP integration solutions that address client needs, leveraging our expertise across various platforms. - Solution Presentation: Develop and articulate solution options, including associated risks, costs, pros, and cons. Present solutions, estimates, and proposals to clients with confidence, leading them to the optimal technical solution for their business. - Technical Demonstrations: Customize a demonstration environment to deliver tailored, engaging product demonstrations that align with the client’s business needs. - Proposal and SOW Support: Collaborate with the sales team to develop technical sections for proposals, RFPs, and Statements of Work (SOWs), ensuring accuracy and clarity. - Proof of Concept (PoC): Lead and manage technical proof-of-concept projects to validate proposed solutions and de-risk the sales process. - Collaboration & Communication: Work effectively with cross-functional teams across geographic regions. Collaborate with partners and Integrated Software Vendors (ISVs) to determine proper modules and pricing. Work closely with the delivery and engineering teams to ensure a seamless transition from the sales process to project execution. - Market and Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in e-commerce, ERP, and related technologies, as well as the features and roadmaps of key platforms.Continuous Improvement: Maintain a strong intellectual curiosity to continuously improve your knowledge and capabilities. Analyse data to improve processes and systems, and stay up-to-date on Kensium solution offerings, features, and benefits.- Experience: 3+ years of experience in a presales, solution engineering, or technical consulting role, preferably within the e-commerce or ERP space. Experience with B2B and/or B2C engagements is essential. - Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms including Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento, and/or Adobe Commerce Cloud with 3+ years ecommerce experience as a user, Presales, Solution Architecture or Implementation experience. - ERP Knowledge: Solid conceptual understanding of ERP systems with 3+ years ERP experience in one or more platforms such as Acumatica, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, Epicor or SAP. - Integration Knowledge: Hands-on experience or a solid conceptual understanding of integration patterns, APIs (REST, SOAP), and middleware platforms. - Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a creative approach to solution design. - Presentation Skills: Proven ability to create and deliver engaging, persuasive presentations and product demonstrations. - Value based Sales: Experience with complex selling & value-based (consultative) sales strategies. - Collaboration: A team player who can effectively collaborate with sales, marketing, and technical teams. - Business Acumen: The ability to understand business processes and connect technical solutions to business outcomes.If you are a passionate and technically skilled individual who thrives on solving complex business problems and building strong client relationships, we encourage you to apply.
