We are seeking a skilled and passionate Gemology & Diamond Faculty to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in gem identification, diamond grading & sorting, practical industry experience, and a flair for teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Gemology (colored stones, synthetics, treatments) or Diamond Grading (4Cs, certification standards, sorting techniques) to diploma and advanced-level students.
  • Conduct hands-on lab sessions using professional gem & diamond grading tools and equipment (e.g., microscope, loupe, spectroscope, refractometer).
  • Evaluate student performance through practical and theoretical assessments.
  • Stay updated with global grading standards, treatments, synthetics, and market trends.
  • Guide students with academic and career counseling.
  • Maintain lab instruments and ensure accurate handling of gemstones and diamonds.
  • Contribute to course development, paper setting, and evaluations.
  • Represent the institute at events, exhibitions, and guest lectures when required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate/Diploma in Gemology or Diamond Grading from a recognized institute.
  • Experience in teaching related subjects highly encouraged.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Proficiency in English (knowledge of regional languages is a plus).
  • Familiarity with digital teaching tools (PowerPoint, digital microscopes, etc.).

  • Any Relevant study certification from recognized institute or university.
