Job Overview

We are seeking a Medical Gastroenterologist for a full-time, mid-level position at Spandana Hospital located in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of experience in the field, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal disorders and diseases. Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in the field of gastroenterology with comprehensive understanding of digestive system disorders.
  • Strong expertise in Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) (Mandatory skill).
  • In-depth experience in managing liver diseases effectively (Mandatory skill).
  • Proficiency in performing polypectomy procedures with high accuracy (Mandatory skill).
  • Familiarity with management strategies for Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) is crucial for the role.
  • Knowledge of gastrointestinal motility disorders and their therapeutic approaches.
  • Competence in conducting capsule endoscopy for small intestine examination.
  • Experience in performing colonoscopy and upper GI endoscopy procedures safely and effectively.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat diverse gastrointestinal diseases and conditions in patients with utmost care.
  • Perform endoscopic procedures including ERCP, colonoscopy, and upper GI endoscopy efficiently.
  • Collaborate with other specialists to provide a multidisciplinary approach to complex cases.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding disease prevention and treatment plans.
  • Stay updated with the latest advances and research in the field of gastroenterology.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate medical records of patients while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide emergency care when required.
  • Ensure adherence to hospital policies and existing medical protocols to maintain quality care.
