Function :


IT Operations and Support, IT Management / IT Support, IT Security, Network Administration Information Security Network Administration Security :

- Monitor and analyze email traffic for potential security threats, including phishing and spam.

- Investigate and respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner.

- Collaborate with IT and Security Architecture teams to implement and maintain email security protocols.

- Manage inbound and outbound security rules for email (filtering, whitelists, spam, etc.).

- Provide inputs on messaging initiatives, maintain email security infrastructure, and deploy security controls to manage and mitigate risks.

- Secure email systems by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access.

- Develop and report metrics (KPIs) for email security performance.

- Stay current with emerging security threats and trends and adapt security measures accordingly.

- Create and maintain documentation for security procedures and protocols.

- Provide training and education for employees on email security best practices.

- Collaborate with clients to align security policies with their specific business needs.

- Collaborate on architecture and security solutions to address client-specific challenges.

Requirements :

- Expert knowledge of SMTP (RFC 821/5321), TLS, DNS, and related standards.

- Experience with email security platforms such as Trustwave MailMarshal (On-Prem and Cloud), Proofpoint (TAP, EFD, TRAP), Mimecast, and Microsoft O365

- Strong understanding of email protocols and infrastructure like DKIM, SPF, and DMARC.

- Experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and email filtering solutions.

- Familiarity with email encryption technologies.

- Strong understanding of information security best practices and industry standards.

- 5+ years of experience within IT, and at least 1 year of working experience with Proofpoint / Mimecast / Forcepoint / MailMarshal email gateway systems.

- Strong email engineering skills; clear understanding of Message Transfer Agent configurations.

- Good to have an understanding of DLP and encryption technologies.

- Experience with internet email protocols, network protocols, and email routing concepts.

- Good understanding of Cyber review functions on Email security.

- Created process documents, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and runbooks for managing day-to-day operations.

- Experience in coordination and collaboration with multiple vendors for ongoing issues and new upcoming technology enhancements.

- Able to plan, schedule, track, and report on simple project timelines/milestones using collaboration tools such as ServiceNow / Jira.

- Excellent knowledge of ITIL and having the strong capability to define, execute, and enforce key ITIL processes like incident, problem, and change management.

Preferred :

- Microsoft Messaging Certifications; MSCE, MSCA, Teams Administrator Associate.

- Cisco IronPort ESA and SMA Management.

- Proofpoint Email Security Solutions.

- Email Compliance Management.
