Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Software Tester with expertise in manual testing to join our dynamic team. The role involves collaborating with development and QA teams to streamline the testing process. QA professional should be skilled in manual testing, familiar with QA methodologies, and adhering to best practices ensuring software products meet high-quality standards. These skills collectively contribute to efficient and effective testing, identifying critical issues early, and delivering reliable and robust software.

Responsibilities :

- Create detailed test plans based on project requirements and specifications.

- Execute manual test cases to ensure that the software is functioning as expected.

- Identify, document, and track defects (bugs) found during testing.

- Work closely with developers to understand the functionality and potential risk areas.

- Stay updated with new testing methodologies and tools.

- Execute test cases and scenarios to identify software defects and inconsistencies.

- Document and prioritize bugs and issues found during testing.

- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.

- Perform regression testing to ensure that previously identified defects have been fixed.

- Participate in team meetings and discussions to contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding testing progress, issues, and resolutions.

- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing and quality assurance.

- Create and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases

- Execute manual tests and identify defects

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

- Report and track defects using bug tracking tools

- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions

- Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance the quality of the software

- Provide accurate and timely status updates to project stakeholders

Requirements :

- Proficiency in performing manual testing.

- Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases.

- Adopt continuous testing practices, ensuring that testing is done continuously during the development lifecycle

- Strong written and verbal communication to document and report issues clearly.

- Writing comprehensive test plans that outline the scope, objectives, strategy, and resources for testing.
