ThingWorx Consultant

Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled ThingWorx Consultant with 5 to 7 years of experience in solution design, Windchill customization, debugging, and development fundamentals.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in documentation, software testing, maintenance, and performance tuning, with a strong background in product development methodologies and tools, including agile methods, source management, automated testing, and DevOps practices.

The role requires the ability to design robust solutions using ThingWorx, customize Windchill to meet specific requirements, and ensure the overall quality and performance of software solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Solution Design :

- Design robust solutions using ThingWorx platform to address complex business requirements and challenges.

Windchill Customization and Development :

- Customize and develop Windchill solutions to enhance functionality, improve user experience, and meet specific business needs.

Debugging and Troubleshooting :

- Identify and resolve issues related to Windchill customization through effective debugging and troubleshooting techniques.

Documentation :

- Create comprehensive documentation including design specifications, technical documentation, and user guides to ensure clarity and maintainability of solutions.

Software Testing :

- Develop and execute software testing strategies to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of ThingWorx and Windchill solutions.

Software Maintenance :

- Perform regular maintenance activities including updates, patches, and bug fixes to ensure the continued functionality and stability of software solutions.

Software Performance Tuning :

- Analyze and optimize the performance of ThingWorx and Windchill solutions to enhance responsiveness, scalability, and efficiency.

Product Development Methodologies and Tools :

- Apply strong product development methodologies and tools experience, including agile methods, source management (e.g., GitHub, SVN), problem resolution, automated testing, and DevOps practices.

Qualifications and Experience :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

- 5 to 7 years of experience in ThingWorx and Windchill customization, development, and debugging.

- Proficiency in solution design, documentation, software testing, maintenance, and performance tuning.

- Strong understanding of product development methodologies and tools, including agile methods, source management, automated testing, and DevOps practices.

- Experience with version control systems such as GitHub or SVN.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
