The ideal candidate brings technical depth, domain understanding, and hands-on experience in building scalable, efficient QA practices within Agile teams.Key Responsibilities :- Lead the design, development, and implementation of test strategies with a primary focus on automated test coverage for UI, API, and backend components.- Build and maintain robust, reusable test frameworks to support ongoing development and release cycles.- Define and enforce quality standards and processes across projects, driving early defect detection and consistent delivery.- Collaborate closely with product, development, and DevOps teams to ensure testability, reliability, and performance of releases.- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and monitor quality metrics to identify improvement areas.- Participate in sprint planning, story grooming, and all phases of the software development lifecycle to embed a quality-first approach.- Apply healthcare domain knowledge to validate critical user journeys and ensure compliance with industry standards.Required Skills & Qualifications :- 6 to 9 years of experience in software testing, with a significant portion spent on test automation.- Strong command of tools such as playwright, cypress, or similar frameworks.- Proficiency in scripting/programming (e.G., Javascript, typescript, python, or java).- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as jenkins, gitlab CI, or azure devops.- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test lifecycle management, and risk-based testing approaches.- Experience working in Agile teams, collaborating across geographies and time zones.- Familiarity with healthcare workflows, compliance standards, and working with US/UK clients.- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills- Define and drive quality metrics, processes, and standards- Define test scope, objectives, timelines, resource needs, and risk assessments for each project- Perform hands-on testing when needed, especially during high-risk or critical releases (ref:hirist.tech)
