tl;dr - Looking for a backend developer with experience building and maintaining backend systems to join Proof-of-Skill. Should be skilled with Postgres/Express/Node, GitHub deployments, and curious to explore LLMs, blockchain, and new tech. In office role in MumbaiProof of Skill protocol is a blockchain-based system where industry experts (Validators) evaluate candidates‘ skills and issue verifiable Skill Credentials. Organizations can then shortlist candidates based on these credentials.Qualifications and Skills:3+ years of experience in back-end development, with a strong focus on blockchain technologyProven track record of building and scaling decentralized applications (dApps) or blockchain-based productsIn-depth understanding of blockchain architectures, consensus mechanisms, and smart contract developmentProficiency in programming languages such as Solidity, Rust, Go, or other relevant languages for blockchain developmentFamiliarity with various blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Polkadot, Cosmos, Solana) and their respective ecosystemsExperience with decentralized storage solutions (e.g., IPFS, Filecoin) and decentralized identity protocolsStrong knowledge of cryptocurrency wallets, token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721), and blockchain security best practicesFamiliarity with decentralized finance (DeFi) concepts is a plusResponsibilities:Design and develop the core back-end components of the Proof of Skill protocol, including smart contracts, blockchain integration, and off-chain servicesImplement secure and efficient data storage and retrieval mechanisms for skill credentials and validator informationDevelop and integrate decentralized identity solutions for validators and candidatesEnsure the scalability, performance, and security of the protocol as it growsCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, UX designers, and product managersStay up-to-date with the latest blockchain technology trends and advancementsContribute to the project‘s technical documentation and knowledge-sharing initiativesIdeal Candidate Traits:Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent communication and collaboration skillsPassion for decentralized technologies and their potential impactEntrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take ownershipHigh agency and a drive for continuous learning and improvementIf you have a deep understanding of blockchain technology and a passion for building innovative, decentralized solutions, we invite you to join our team and contribute to the future of skill verification and credentialing.
