Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Recruiter to join our team in the plumbing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates for various roles within the plumbing sector, including technicians, engineers, project managers, and support staff. The recruiter will also play a key role in building a strong talent pipeline and ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Talent Acquisition:

oDevelop and implement recruitment strategies to identify qualified candidates for roles across the plumbing industry.

oSource candidates through a variety of channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals.

oPost job openings on relevant job sites and engage in proactive talent sourcing for niche roles in the plumbing industry.

2.Screening & Interviewing:

oScreen resumes and applications, shortlist candidates based on qualifications, skills, and experience.

oConduct initial phone interviews and coordinate in-person or virtual interviews with hiring managers.

oAssess candidates’ technical skills, experience, and cultural fit for the plumbing industry.

3.Job Offers & Onboarding:

oPrepare and extend job offers to selected candidates, negotiating compensation and benefits where necessary.

oOversee the onboarding process, ensuring that new hires have the necessary tools and resources to succeed in their roles.

4.Relationship Management:

oBuild and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including hiring managers, department heads, and industry partners.

oStay updated on trends and challenges in the plumbing industry to anticipate staffing needs.

5.Compliance & Record-Keeping:

oEnsure that all recruitment processes comply with legal requirements and company policies.

oMaintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records and recruitment metrics.

6.Market Research:

oStay informed on industry-specific skills, qualifications, certifications, and trends to enhance recruitment strategies.

oNetwork with professionals in the plumbing industry to increase visibility and attract top talent.

7.Candidate Experience:

oProvide a positive and professional candidate experience, ensuring clear communication and timely feedback throughout the hiring process.


Qualifications & Skills:

•Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

•Experience:

o3yr + experience as an HR Recruiter, ideally with experience in the construction, trade, or plumbing industries.

oFamiliarity with plumbing industry roles and job-specific requirements.

oExperience with recruitment software, job boards, and social media platforms.

•Skills:

oExcellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

oStrong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.

oDetail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.

oKnowledge of labor laws, regulations, and industry standards.

oAbility to assess technical skills relevant to the plumbing industry
