Primary Skills :

A ServiceNow Architect should possess a comprehensive skill set, including advanced expertise in the ServiceNow platform, certification as a ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and Certified Implementation Specialist, and the ability to design robust solutions aligned with business requirements. Strong leadership skills are crucial for guiding development teams, setting best practices, and ensuring successful project delivery. Proficiency in scripting languages like JavaScript, Glide Script, and Jelly is essential for developing and customizing ServiceNow modules. Additionally, the architect should have experience in integrating ServiceNow with other systems, optimizing configurations for enhanced performance, and ensuring compliance with governance standards and security requirements. Effective communication skills and a talent for documentation are also vital for collaborating with diverse teams and maintaining clear, comprehensive records of ServiceNow configurations and implementations.

Secondary Skills :

- Include knowledge of ITIL frameworks, experience with process improvement methodologies, and familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.

Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled ServiceNow Architect to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ServiceNow development, implementation, and customization, coupled with excellent leadership and communication skills. The ServiceNow Architect will play a pivotal role in designing, architecting, and implementing ServiceNow solutions to meet the organization's needs, ensuring optimal functionality and performance.

Key Responsibilities :

Architectural Design :

- Design and architect ServiceNow solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements, industry best practices, and ITIL standards.

- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into ServiceNow and Customization :

- Lead the implementation and customization of ServiceNow modules, including Incident Management, Change Management, Service CatLog, and others.

- Develop and maintain ServiceNow workflows, forms, business rules, UI components, and integrations.

Technical Leadership :

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to ServiceNow development teams.

- Mentor and train team members on ServiceNow development best practices.


Integration Management :

- Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems.

- Ensure seamless data flow and integration points between ServiceNow and third-party applications.

Performance Optimization :

- Identify and address performance bottlenecks in ServiceNow instances.

- Optimize configurations and workflows to enhance system performance and responsiveness.

Governance and Compliance :

- Enforce governance and compliance standards within the ServiceNow environment.

- Perform regular audits to ensure adherence to security and regulatory requirements.

Documentation :

- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for ServiceNow configurations, customizations, and integrations.

- Develop and maintain architectural diagrams and technical documentation.

Collaboration :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Security, and Business Operations, to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.

- Work closely with vendors and consultants to ensure successful ServiceNow :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Architect, with a strong track record of successful ServiceNow implementations.

- In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities, modules, and best practices.

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting languages.

- Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and reporting.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead technical discussions.
