The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in managing Linux-based environments, including server lifecycle operations, hypervisor platforms, automation tools, and basic cloud integration. This role demands deep troubleshooting skills and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced infrastructure support environment.Key Responsibilities: DeliverLevel 3 technical supportfor Linux server environments, ensuring compliance with customer SLAs. Performdaily compute operationsincluding incident management, service requests, change requests, and root cause analysis, aligned with ITIL processes. Manage the full server lifecycle:installation, configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and decommissioning(physical and virtual servers). Conductperformance testing, system tuning, and troubleshootingfor server-related issues, especially during outages or degradation. Administerstorage operationsusing NetApp NFS. HandleOS image maintenance ,patch management(e.g., via BladeLogic Automation), andrepository/package management . Configure and roll outserver monitoring and alerts . Document infrastructure services, solutions, and procedures; perform quality assurance and knowledge transfer to Level 2 support teams. Participate inon-call rotations , including weekends or holidays as needed by project requirements.Required Skills & Experience: Strong experience withLinux OS operations and server administration(physical and virtual). Proficient inhypervisor technologies , especiallyXEN and VMware . In-depth knowledge ofLVM, DNS, LDAP, and IPTables . Experience withserver monitoring tools , performance tuning, and root cause analysis. Exposure tocloud platforms(associate-level understanding ofAWS ,Azure , orGCP ). Familiarity withautomation tools(e.g.,Chef ) andscripting languages(e.g.,Bash ,Perl ).
