Were looking for highly skilled backend engineers who thrive in cloud-native environments, write clean and tested code, and enjoy solving complex problems at scale.Responsibilities :- Design, build, and maintain robust backend services using Python/Django.- Work with distributed task queues (Celery) and caching mechanisms (Redis).- Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases, ensuring high performance and reliability.- Design and maintain APIs across gRPC, REST, and GraphQL, ensuring schema versioning and backward compatibility.- Write and maintain unit, integration, and contract tests integrated into CI/CD pipelines.- Implement observability best practices with Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, structured logging, and Grafana dashboards.- Profile and optimize application performance, including analyzing SQL query plans and tuning production systems.- Contribute to cloud-native deployments using tools like Docker and GitHub Actions.- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical solutions clearly.Requirements :- 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience.- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Python/Django in production.- Strong knowledge of Celery, PostgreSQL, and Redis.- Proven experience in API design (gRPC, REST, GraphQL) and handling versioning- Solid experience in testing practices with coverage metrics and CI/CD pipelines.- Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools (Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana)- Experience in performance tuning and production debugging.- Comfortable working in cloud-native environments (Docker, GitHub Actions)- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Nice to Have :- Familiarity with TypeScript or Golang.- Prior experience in the e-commerce domain (ref:hirist.tech)
