Overview:The Purchase Assistant plays a key role in supporting the procurement process within the organization. They are responsible for facilitating the purchase of goods and services necessary for the business operations ensuring that supply needs are met efficiently and effectively.Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or a related field. Prefered Experience in the Transformer industry
  • Proven experience in a similar purchasing or procurement role.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite and purchasing software.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and negotiate with vendors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the procurement of goods and services by coordinating with vendors and suppliers.
  • Process purchase orders and monitor delivery timelines to ensure timely receipt of goods.
  • Manage inventory levels and maintain accurate records of stock and purchases.
  • Communicate with internal teams to understand their supply needs and identify costeffective sourcing options.
  • Help streamline the procurement process by identifying areas for improvement.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on pricing and product availability.
  • Assist with supplier negotiations to secure favorable terms and pricing.
  • Create and maintain good relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Provide administrative support to the procurement team such as preparing reports and maintaining documentation.
  • Handle any discrepancies or issues with orders and invoices.
