Description : - Write, test, debug, and maintain SAS programs (Base SAS, Macros, SAS DI, or Advance SAS).- Handle data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks using SAS (and SQL/Python).- Validate data ensure data quality, perform checks, reconcile outputs.- Optimize SAS code for better performance, maintainability, reusability.- Collaborate with business stakeholders and analysts to understand requirements and deliver reports/solutions.- Generate periodic reports or dashboards using SAS output; support ad-hoc requests.- Participate in peer code-reviews to maintain coding standards and quality.- Troubleshoot issues in production jobs; ensure minimal downtime or errors.- Document processes, data flows, SAS programs and data definitions.- Engage in migrating or upgrading SAS code, if required (e.g. moving from one version to another or integrating with more modern tools or platforms).- Maintain version control, follow best practices and governance.
