Job Brief: -


We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Manager - Metal to ensure that our products and services meet all necessary requirements before they reach the consumer. The Quality Manager, or Quality Assurance Manager, will inspect the final product to make sure it has been built with compliance to legal standards and meets customer expectations. A great quality manager is thorough and observant with an eye for detail.

 

Role’s & Responsibilities:

  • Should possess brief knowledge of All Metals - especially Stainless Steel , Alloys, Grades, Standards & Finish.
  • Ensure to implement technical knowledge on Welding – Mig / Tig, Buffing, Polishing & Finishing.
  • Thorough check of the entire batch, material & installation and supporting documents to be complied to be sent for approval.
  • In case of any discrepancies or low standards of the final product, provide solution-based guidance for corrective measures.
  • Monitoring quality performed by other departments
  • Ensuring that quality requirements are met by entities placed under the control of the quality department
  • Regular inspection on every batch on timely basis should be done as the production moves ahead
  • Accurate and consistent documentation; documentation of all activities, facilities, equipment and instruction during manufacturing process to ensure that these items are in good operating condition before being distributed or sold to third parties
  • Compiling and maintaining records of manufacturing process that ensure quality products are produced
  • Identify problems within the processes for review or cancel manufacturing when needed
  • Monitoring and checking for abnormalities in products, out of specification requirements and non-conformities
  • Developing quality control plans to eliminate existing or probable defects before production takes place
  • Monitoring the progress of corrective actions when product defects are identified by confirming completion dates
  • Conducting product inspection if deemed necessary as well as evaluating data to determine the possible causes of problematic situations with the help of other departments as needed
  • Reviewing test results and work instructions to ensure that the testing is performed without error

 

Skills Required:-

  1. Proven work experience as a Quality Control or similar role
  2. Minimum of 2 years working experience in a quality assurance role in the same field or industry
  3. Experience in quality inspection, auditing and testing
  4. Must possess good analytical skills to determine probable causes of product defects and determine appropriate corrective actions when required
  5. Knowledgeable and must understand the basic concepts on quality assurance, such as quality control principles, methods and systems
  6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  7. Strong computer skills and knowledge of QC databases and applications
  8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  9. Relevant training and/or certifications as a Quality Control
  10. Adaptable to changes in project scope or requirements.
  11. Ability to work under pressure and time constraints while still performing their tasks efficiently
  12. Good interpersonal skills to build and maintain good relationships with clients, suppliers, colleagues, and customers in a work environment
  13. Possess strong leadership skills as well as good interpersonal skills to establish effective rapport with people around him/her such as teams, clients, customers and suppliers.
