Role Overview We are seeking a highly driven and strategicAVP – Capability Developmentto design, lead, and execute EXL’s enterprise-wide capability development agenda. The position requires a thought leader who can bridge strategy and execution— conceptualizing, designing, and operationalizing scalable interventionsthat drive measurable business impact, innovation, and delivery excellence.Key Responsibilities 1. Enterprise Capability Strategy & Leadership Design and own the enterprise capability development strategy aligned with EXL’sdata, AI, analytics, and digital-led transformation priorities . Partner closely with Business Leaders, Domain Experts, and CXOs to identifycritical talent shifts and future capability needs . Build ascalable, future-ready capability frameworkintegratingoperations, analytics, data, AI, and advanced technology skills . Position EXL as acapability-led transformation partnerfor clients through domain, digital, and innovation-driven talent strategies.2. Data, AI & Advanced Tech Enablement Drivetalent specialization journeysinAI, analytics, and partner ecosystemsto fast-track solutioning and delivery excellence. Createintegrated capability pathwaysthat embeddata-driven and AI-led workflowsacross operations and client engagements. Build partnerships withexternal technology providers, academia, and start-upsto continuously evolve EXL’s advanced tech stack. Institutionalize best practices,playbooks, accelerators, and frameworksforAI-first and analytics-enabled solutioning .3. Innovation & Solutioning Excellence Lead enterprise-wide innovation programs toidentify, incubate, and scale breakthrough ideasinto market-ready solutions. Enableintegrated solutioning capabilitiesby equipping growth leaders and client-facing teams tostitch together multi-SGU offerings . Partner with pursuit and solutioning leaders tosharpen CXO-level narratives , align with client priorities, and position EXL as aninnovation-led partner . Buildcommunities of practiceto foster collaboration, exchange ideas, and replicate success across business lines.4. Leadership & Talent Development Enable frontline managers to excel inpeople leadership, client management, and operational excellence . Designimmersive, experiential learning interventionsfor leaders at multiple levels, focused onstrategy execution, integrated solutioning, and innovation . Create structured pathways for growth leaders to strengthenCXO engagement skills, consultative ability, and analytics-driven solution fluency . Leverageinternal leaders, industry experts, and client perspectivesto embedapplied, experiential learningacross teams.5. Insights, Metrics & Business Impact Establish ameasurement frameworkto trackcapability ROI , solution adoption, innovation outcomes, and leadership effectiveness. Leveragedata-driven insights and dashboardsto monitorcapability maturity, talent readiness, and business impact . Continuously refine strategies based onperformance data, client feedback, and market shifts .Key Requirements Education MBA or equivalent degree inBusiness, Strategy, Organizational Development , or a related field preferred. Experience 12–15 yearsof experience incapability development, digital/AI transformation, or consultingin global enterprises. Proven track record ofdesigning and scaling enterprise capability programsacross multiple functions. Experience drivingdata/AI adoption, analytics integration, innovation frameworks, and leadership enablementinitiatives. Exposure toadvanced technology partnerships and integrated, multi-disciplinary solutioning . Skills & Competencies Strategic thought leadershipwith deep understanding ofdata, analytics, AI, and digital-led business models . Expertise inprogram design, facilitation , andembedding capability into the flow of work . Strongstakeholder managementand ability topartner with CXO-level leaders globally . Exceptionalstorytelling and change leadership skills .
