Job Summary:


We are seeking a dedicated Plant HR Manager with strong experience in HR operations within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in labor relations, compliance, and employee engagement. Fluency in Marathi is mandatory, as effective communication with the local workforce and stakeholders is essential for success in this role.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Employee Relations: Foster positive relationships with plant employees, addressing grievances, promoting open communication, and ensuring employee satisfaction.
  • Labor Relations & Union Management: Manage labor relations effectively by collaborating with labor unions, negotiating agreements, and resolving disputes in compliance with labor regulations and policies.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes to meet plant staffing needs, ensuring smooth integration of new hires.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Adherence: Ensure plant operations comply with labor laws, the Factory Act, and other safety regulations; conduct audits and implement updates as needed.
  • Performance Management: Implement and manage performance review processes, guiding supervisors on evaluations, performance improvement plans, and disciplinary actions.
  • Training & Development: Identify training needs, facilitate skill development programs, and promote workplace safety awareness among employees.
  • Health, Safety & Environment (HSE): Partner with the HSE team to enforce safety standards, conducting safety training and supporting incident response planning.
  • HR Operations & Administration: Manage HR administration, including payroll, attendance, leave management, and employee records.
  • Employee Engagement & Welfare: Plan engagement activities and welfare programs to enhance employee morale and create a positive work environment.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a plant or manufacturing setting, including union and labor relations.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of labor laws, compliance, and safety regulations, with excellent conflict resolution, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in Marathi and English is mandatory to effectively engage with the workforce and local stakeholders.
  • Personality: Empathetic, proactive, and approachable, with strong leadership and organizational skills.
