The ideal candidate will have 57 years of experience specializing in developing and supporting enterprise-grade BI solutions. This role requires expertise in dimensional modeling, advanced SQL, ETL process development, and creating compelling data visualizations to meet the analytical needs of the business.Key Responsibilities and Deliverables : - Data Warehouse Development : Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse structures, including dimensional models (star and snowflake schemas) that support efficient reporting and analytics.- ETL Process Implementation : Develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable ETL/ELT processes to extract data from various source systems, transform it based on business rules, and load it into the data warehouse or data lake environments.- SQL and Query Optimization : Write complex, highly performant SQL queries and stored procedures. Focus on query optimization and tuning to improve report processing speed and overall database efficiency.- Visualization and Reporting : Design, develop, and publish interactive dashboards and reports using industry-leading BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView), ensuring data accuracy and adherence to best practices in data visualization.- Stakeholder Collaboration : Collaborate closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather reporting requirements, understand business definitions, and translate them into functional technical specifications and data models.- Maintenance and Support : Provide ongoing production support for existing ETL jobs, data pipelines, and BI reports, troubleshooting data discrepancies and performance issues.Mandatory Skills & Qualifications : - Experience : 57 years of hands-on experience in Business Intelligence (BI) development or Data Warehousing.- SQL Mastery : Expert proficiency in SQL for complex query writing, stored procedures, data manipulation, and performance tuning.- Data Warehousing Concepts : Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, including dimensional modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema), OLAP, and ETL principles.- ETL Tools : Proven experience developing ETL pipelines using tools such as Informatica, SSIS, Talend, or dedicated cloud ETL services.- BI Tools : Hands-on experience with at least one major Business Intelligence and Visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik).- Communication : Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for interacting with technical and business teams.Preferred Skills (Good To Have) : - Programming Experience : Programming experience in Python, Java, or Scala for advanced data manipulation, scripting, or Big Data processing (e.g., Spark).- Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, Snowflake).- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD integration for BI assets.- Experience with semi-structured or unstructured data processing.
