Symbiosis Open Education Society has established Maharashtra’s first Skill Development University called the Symbiosis Skills and Professional University (SSPU) at Kiwale, Pune.

The university was enacted through a bill passed by state Legislation on 3rd May 2017.

The ' state -of -Art' campus has been constructed on 15 acres of land with specialized laboratories, workshops, and centers of excellence having specialized skill training equipment and machines. The University offers Certificates, Diplomas and degree programs in high growth sectors such as Automobile, Construction, CSIT, Mechatronics, Architecture, Retail, Ports & Terminal Management, Beauty & Wellness, Media Management, Data Science, etc. with multi entry-exit and credit banking options. The objective of the University is to create’ industry- ready’ youth who can be gainfully employed upon completion of their courses.


Responsibilities for the position are as under.


1. To assist in arranging meetings of statutory bodies such as Managing Committee, General Body etc. along with preparing documentation for meeting, preparation of minutes etc.

2. To assist in trust and society related compliances namely with office of Charity Commissioner and Registrar of Societies

3. To prepare correspondence regarding student's grievances/requests, legal notices received from students and various internal and external stakeholders

4. To maintain documentation / record keeping of Registrar office

5. To prepare various drafts / letters / notifications /documents / notes / reports/ records/ proposals etc. from time to time

6. Co-ordination and follow up with constituent institutes pertaining to various activities and extend necessary administrative support from to time

7. To visit and make correspondence with various government offices for obtaining permissions/ approvals/sanctions on proposals submitted

8. To make necessary preparations / documentation for inspection / visits of the statutory / regulatory bodies

9. To coordinate with various departments of the society pertaining to various activities required to be carried out for smooth functioning of society

10. To make preparations for arranging various meetings from time to time

11. To attend various meetings, noting minutes of the meeting, circulating actions points to the concerned staff, follow up for completion of actions points

12. To collect and compile required details from constituents for preparation of Annual Report and prepare Annual Report
