Job Title: Automation Tester Location: Pondicherry (On-site) Experience: Minimum 3 Years About the RoleWe are looking for a skilled Automation Tester to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts that ensure the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications. You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to identify testing needs and deliver high-quality releases.Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium). - Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines . - Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing . - Collaborate with developers and QA team members to analyze requirements and create test plans/cases . - Identify, log, and track bugs; verify fixes and ensure product quality. - Optimize and maintain automated test suites for reusability and scalability. - Generate detailed test reports and documentation .Required Skills & Experience- 3+ years of experience in automation testing. - Hands-on expertise with Selenium / Cypress / Playwright / Appium . - Strong knowledge of Java / JavaScript / Python / C# (any one is fine for test automation). - Familiarity with TestNG / JUnit / Mocha / Jasmine frameworks . - Experience in testing REST APIs (Postman, RestAssured, etc.) . - Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies . - Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.). - Good knowledge of bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, Trello). - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Nice to Have- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust). - Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs). - Basic knowledge of manual testing for exploratory scenarios.
