We are a preferred Testing partner for many startups.Role Description TheSr. Automation Test Engineerwill be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust automated testing frameworks to ensure the highest level of product quality. You will collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams to enhance testing efficiency, drive automation coverage, and maintain overall software reliability.Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintainend-to-end automation frameworks and test scripts using Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, and JavaScript. Collaborate with cross-functional teams(developers, product owners, DevOps) to understand business requirements and define testing scope. Implementautomation strategiesfor regression, integration, functional, and API testing. Conductmanual and exploratory testingwhen necessary to validate critical application workflows and edge cases. Write and maintainautomated regression suitesfor new and existing features. Ensureseamless integration of automated testswith CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions). Provide technical guidance and mentorshipto junior QA team members on automation tools, coding standards, and testing best practices. Participate incode reviews, sprint planning, and design discussions to ensure quality is embedded throughout the SDLC. Continuously improve test processes, identify automation opportunities, and recommend new tools or frameworks. Maintain clear and concisetest documentation, reports, and defect tracking.Required Skills and Qualifications: 5–8 years of hands-on experience intest automationandsoftware quality engineering. Expertise inJavaScriptand automation frameworks such asPlaywright,Selenium,Cucumber, andTestNG. Solid understanding ofBDD frameworksand API testing (RESTful services). Experience working withsource control systems(GitHub, SVN). Strong understanding oftest design principles, QA methodologies, and defect lifecycle. Experience withcontinuous integration and delivery (CI/CD)pipelines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
