Job Description: Accounts Executive

Position: Accounts Executive 

Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India

Organization: Training and Educational Centre for Hearing impaired - TEACH 

Employment Type: Full-Time 

Job Summary: We seek a detail-oriented and dedicated Accounts Executive to join our non-profit organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role requires a high level of integrity, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for contributing to our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents.
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to ensure financial stability.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Maintain Donor data Management, Students Fees management.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, laws, and regulations – including GST, TDS, and Labour laws.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze financial data.
  • Assist in the preparation of audit documentation and liaise with auditors as needed.
  • Handle any other financial tasks assigned by the Finance Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in accounting or financial management, preferably within a non-profit organization.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Zoho preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity and commitment to ethical standards.
