Job Summary :

The Faculty in Computer Science Engineering will deliver high-quality teaching, conduct innovative research, and contribute to academic and administrative activities. The role involves teaching undergraduate (B.Tech, B.Sc.) and postgraduate (M.Tech, Ph.D.) programs, developing curricula, conducting laboratories, performing examination duties, and publishing high-impact research. The ideal candidate will have an outstanding academic background, a strong publication record, and a passion for mentoring students in a dynamic, research-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching and Curriculum Development:

- Deliver engaging lectures and tutorials for B.Tech and B.Sc. students in Computer Science Engineering, with potential to teach M.Tech and Ph.D. courses (e.g., AI, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing) as required.

- Design and update course curricula, syllabi, and teaching materials to align with industry trends, UGC guidelines, and program learning outcomes.

- Develop innovative pedagogical approaches, incorporating active learning, project-based learning, and technology-enhanced teaching methods.

Laboratory Management:

- Conduct and supervise laboratory sessions for courses such as Programming, Data Structures, Algorithms, and Networking, ensuring hands-on learning and practical skill development.

- Oversee lab infrastructure, including software tools (e.g., Python, Java, MATLAB) and hardware setups, in collaboration with technical staff.

Research and Development:

- Conduct high-impact research in Computer Science or related fields (e.g., AI, Cybersecurity, IoT), leading to publications in peer-reviewed, UGC-listed, or high-impact journals (e.g., IEEE, ACM, Springer).

- Secure research grants, collaborate on interdisciplinary projects, and contribute to patents or open-source software development (e.g., GitHub repositories).

- Mentor M.Tech and Ph.D. students in research projects, guiding them toward publications and thesis completion.

Project Writing and Industry Engagement:

- Develop and submit research proposals for funding from agencies like DST, SERB, or industry partners.

- Engage with industry to design capstone projects, internships, and collaborative research initiatives for students.

Academic and Administrative Contributions:

- Participate in departmental and university committees, including curriculum review, accreditation processes (e.g., NAAC, NIRF), and policy development.

- Contribute to student mentoring, career counseling, and academic advising to enhance student success.

- Support institutional initiatives, such as hackathons, conferences, and workshops, to promote RV University's academic reputation.

Professional Development:

- Publish articles, white papers, or technical reports in high-impact venues to enhance the university's research profile.

- Attend and present at national/international conferences and contribute to editorial boards or program committees.

- Pursue continuous professional development through certifications (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and training programs.

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualifications:

- Master's degree (M.E./M.Tech) in Computer Science Engineering or a related field (e.g., AI, Data Science, Cybersecurity) with a minimum of 55% from a recognized university.

- Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering or a related discipline from a reputed institution in India (e.g., IIT, NIT, IIIT) or abroad (e.g., high QS-ranked universities). Candidates without a Ph.D. will be considered for Assistant Professor.
