Learn more at responsive.io.About the RoleWe are looking for a Product Data Analyst who can turn raw product usage data into meaningful insights that shape product strategy and improve customer experience. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, skilled at digging deep into product data, and able to clearly communicate insights that drive decision-making. You will work closely with product managers, customer success, and leadership teams to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and measure the impact of product initiatives.Experience with ETL and BI tools is a plus, but the primary focus is on analyzing data, deriving insights, and storytelling. Familiarity with product analytics platforms (Mixpanel, Gainsight PX, Amplitude, etc.) is an advantage.Key Responsibilities:- Product Data Analysis: Analyze product usage, customer behavior, and funnel performance to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for growth. - Insights & Storytelling: Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights with compelling narratives for product, growth, and leadership teams. - Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with product managers and other teams to define KPIs, track success metrics, and recommend data-informed decisions. - Experimentation & Measurement: Support feature usage tracking, feature adoption studies, and customer journey analysis to measure product impact. - Data Preparation: Clean, structure, and prepare datasets for analysis, ensuring accuracy and usability. - Visualization & Reporting: Build intuitive dashboards and reports to monitor key product metrics and democratize data access across the organization. - Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with product analytics best practices, tools, and methodologies.Skills Required:- Strong analytical skills with proven ability to interpret large datasets and provide actionable insights. - Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation. - Strong data visualization and storytelling skills (Tableau, Looker Studio, Power BI, or similar). - Experience with product analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Gainsight PX, Amplitude) is highly desirable. - Ability to work independently with minimal direction, while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. - Excellent communication skills — able to explain data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.Nice to Have:- Knowledge of Python/R for advanced data analysis and automation. - Experience with data extraction and ETL workflows. - Familiarity with customer success or SaaS product analytics.Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. - 2–4 years of experience as a Product Analyst / Data Analyst, ideally in a SaaS or product-driven company. - Proven track record of influencing product decisions through data insights.
