The role involves end-to-end ownership of client accounts, from opportunity identification to solution positioning, closure, and post-sale satisfaction. This position requires a blend of consulting acumen, technical understanding, and business development capabilities, along with strong collaboration skills across internal and partner ecosystems.Key Responsibilities :Account Ownership: Own and manage mid-sized client accounts, ensuring consistent revenue growth, account expansion, and high client retention. Solution Leadership: LeadAWS/Azure solution positioningfor new and existing clients, aligning cloud offerings with business outcomes and transformation goals. Client Engagement: Conduct business need assessments and map client requirements to the right AWS or Azure solutions to maximize value delivery. Mentorship: Mentor and coachAssociates and Consultantswithin the cloud consulting team, fostering continuous learning, technical upskilling, and client-facing confidence. Lead Generation: Focus on identifying new business opportunities through proactive client outreach, networking, and collaboration with marketing teams. Pre-Sales Collaboration: Partner with thepre-sales and technical architecture teamsto prepare proposals, present demos, and deliver compelling solution narratives. Cloud Partner Management: Maintain strong working relationships withAWS and Microsoft account managers , ensuring alignment on pipeline, co-selling, and joint marketing initiatives. Program & Benefits Execution: Drive clear understanding and execution of all relevantAWS/Azure programs and partner benefits , leveraging them effectively for client opportunities. Market Awareness: Monitorcompetitor offerings , pricing strategies, and emerging market trends to refine positioning and maintain a competitive edge. Continuous Learning: Pursue ongoing professional development throughAWS/Azure certifications , with a focus onCloud PractitionerandAWS GenAIcertifications.Qualifications & Experience: Experience: 6–10 years in cloud consulting & sales, pre-sales, or solution architecture roles with proven client engagement success. Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of AWS and Azure cloud services, architectures, pricing models, and migration frameworks. Sales Acumen: Demonstrated ability to manage pipelines, qualify leads, and close deals in collaboration with sales and delivery teams. Certifications: Mandatory: AWS/Azure Cloud Practitioner Preferred: AWS GenAI certification Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA preferred.
