Supplier Quality Engineer

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Assess potential suppliers' capabilities in welding, NDT, heat treatment and pickling passivation.
  • Conduct audits and evaluations to ensure suppliers meet required standards and specifications.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to select and qualify new suppliers.
  • Provide technical guidance to suppliers on welding, NDT, heat treatment aid pickling passivation processes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, WEG, manufacturing, and procurement, to address supplier-related quality concerns.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in supplier quality and performance.
  • Work with suppliers to implement best practices and advanced quality techniques.
  • Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives related to supplier quality issues.


Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in engineering or equivalent.
  • Welding certification (CWI / CSWIP) or equivalent certification.
  • NDT Level II or Ill certification.
  • Validated good eyesight.
  • Very good English skills


Experience:

  • At least 5 years relevant experience
  • Good pump product knowledge
