Supplier Quality Developer

Main tasks and responsibilities:
Lead global supplier quality in the region and lead the supplier quality development functions (SQE) regionally.
Lead and coordinate evaluation, auditing, qualification, development, and approval of suppliers, through active participation in supplier selection, qualification, and supplier development.
Champion the use of Meercat (SRM) among suppliers and Sulzer to highlight its value by ensuring a transparent and global uniform documentation around all supplier related activities.
Conduct or lead RCA activities Support operations and the operational procurement community through effective resolution of supplier non-conformances, including RCA & CAPA
Responsible for developing and improving supplier performance (OTIF, COPQ/NCR, FPY) in line with stakeholders (Procurement and Category Mgt.)
Contribute and actively support the supplier landscape development
Support on special projects on demand
Lead and develop organization and subordinates by OKR's

Educational background:
University degree in quality, engineering, production or equivalent

Professional experience:
Exceptional people management skills and the ability to bring people together
Ability to talk to all levels within an organization and convince naturally
Professional structured working attitude with an eye for details
High proficiency on usage of MS Office applications
Qualification as a quality professional with a recognized accredited organization i.e., CQI, ASQ, IRCA etc
Lead assessor qualification for relevant international standards, ISO9001, 18O14001, ISO45001, API Q1
Minimum 5 years occupational experience in a leading quality / supplier quality management function within an industrial manufacturing environment
Strong engineering and manufacturing environment background, from either a quality management or technical function perspective, operations, projects, engineering etc
Strong experience with problem solving methodologies in identifying root cause analysis and corrective actions
Experience with APQP, PPAP Six Sigma is preferred
Good SAP knowledge is an advantage.
