L&T Technology Services ishiringfor Manager - Electrical Design in Chennai - PermanentJD: Position - Manager - Electrical Design Experience - 15+ Years of Experience Location: Chennai Job Type - Permanent Industry: FMCG/Pharma/Warehouse/Chemical/Power Qualification - BE/B Tech ElectricalJob Details:- Should have experience in power system studies Lead a Team of Engineers working in various Projects across North America and India Prime responsibility will be to review and support the Team on Technical requirements. Experienced in International Standards - NEC, IS and IEC. Design Electrical Distribution System for process plant. Prepare / Review specification for Electrical Distribution - Transformers, MV and LV Switchgear, Motors, Distribution boards. Calculations - MV and LV Cable sizing, grounding, short circuit calculations, Lighting Calculations, Cable Tray Sizing etc. Design Electrical Detailed deliverables for process plants - Single line drawings, Electrical Equipment layout, Cable Tray layout, Grounding Layout, Lighting Layout, Protection scheme, Control Panel design. Prepare Bill of Materials for the project - Prepare Best Value Option Analysis, Vendor drawings review, Technical Bid analysis. Design schematic drawings for DOL, VFD, Star-Delta, soft starters, Panel GA. Lighting Lux Level calculation using DiaLux software. Lightning protection, Earthing, SCCR design calculations. Enquiry documents of electrical equipment's and panels. MCC load study, Preparation of BOQ, LEED and CEIG documents. Preparation of Engineering Information / Bid Packages. Experience in Review of detail engineering drawings / documents, vendor drawings, resolving technical issues.
