Technical Lead

Were seeking a Tech Lead with deep expertise in Node.js and modern backend architectures to lead both backend and frontend teams in building scalable, secure, and high-performing systems.
You'll play a crucial role in architectural decisions, mentoring engineers across the stack, and collaborating closely with DevOps and cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead backend development using Node.js, driving best practices and high-quality code standards.
- Design and implement scalable RESTful and event-driven services.
- Collaborate closely with DevOps for CI/CD, infrastructure automation, monitoring, and reliability.
- Contribute to technical architecture and help set long-term technology direction.
- Coordinate with frontend teams (familiarity with React is a plus) for seamless integration.
- Conduct code reviews, technical mentorship, and ensure software development best practices.
- Own system design discussions and decision-making on critical backend components.
- Drive technical documentation and agile processes within the team.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 4+ years of backend development experience, primarily with Node.js (Express/NestJS preferred).
- Solid understanding of system architecture, microservices, and REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
- Good understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Exposure to React.js or experience collaborating with frontend teams.
- Strong knowledge of databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis).
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
- Experience with event-driven systems using Kafka/NATS/RabbitMQ.
- Understanding of security best practices (OAuth, JWT, etc.).
- Experience working in startups or fast-paced agile environments.
