Key Responsibilities:

1. Anchor and Track Progress of Key COO Topics

  • Act as the central point of coordination for the COO’s key topics of responsibility, ensuring smooth tracking and reporting of progress across all five operational areas:
  1. Strategy and Transformation
  2. Financial Oversight and Performance Management
  3. Operational Excellence and Risk Management
  4. Resource Management (incl. Skill and Knowledge Management)
  5. Communications
  • Monitor progress and milestones for initiatives led by department heads or leads in each of these areas.
  • Regularly provide status updates to the COO on key projects and initiatives across these functions.
  • Support the COO in pushing each leader to ensure progress is maintained and help resolve any roadblocks.
  • Organize and prepare overview meetings with the COO to review the progress of key initiatives and decisions.

2. Presentation Preparation for Board, All Hands, and Reviews

  • Assist the COO in preparing high-impact presentations and reports for Board Meetings, All Hands calls, Monthly Business Reviews (MBR), and other key executive meetings.
  • Organize and streamline content for these presentations, ensuring data and insights are clearly communicated, aligned with business objectives, and presented in a professional manner.
  • Work closely with department heads to gather relevant data, insights, and updates to inform presentations.
  • Support the COO in the scheduling, planning, and execution of All Hands meetings and other company-wide or division-wide communications.

3. Strategy and Transformation (Supportive Role)

  • Support the Strategy and Transformation lead by tracking the execution of strategic initiatives across Cloud Professional Services.
  • Ensure that key strategic priorities are being executed on schedule, and report on the status of strategic projects to the COO.
  • Organize meetings to review the progress of transformation initiatives, facilitating discussions between the COO and the Strategy and Transformation team.
  • Assist in preparing overview reports that summarize key milestones and roadblocks for ongoing transformation projects.

4. Financial Oversight and Performance Management (Supportive Role)

  • Work closely with the Financial Performance lead to track budgetary health, financial performance metrics, and KPIs.
  • Ensure that financial targets are being met and provide the COO with regular updates on any variances or risks.
  • Support the financial team in organizing review meetings to analyze monthly or quarterly financial performance.
  • Help prepare financial overviews and reports for Monthly Business Reviews (MBR) and Board meetings, ensuring the COO has all necessary information at hand.

5. Operational Excellence and Risk Management (Supportive Role)

  • Partner with the Operational Excellence lead to monitor the progress of continuous improvement and risk management initiatives.
  • Track key operational KPIs and ensure timely completion of improvement projects.
  • Organize regular review meetings between the COO and the Operational Excellence team to assess progress and identify potential risks.
  • Prepare risk management overviews and ensure the COO is updated on mitigation plans for any identified risks.

6. Resource Management incl. Skill and Knowledge Management (Supportive Role)

  • Support the Resource Management lead by tracking resource allocation, skills development, and knowledge management initiatives.
  • Ensure that talent development, resource optimization, and upskilling projects are progressing as planned.
  • Assist in organizing meetings with the Resource Management team to review workforce performance, skills gaps, and future needs.
  • Provide regular updates to the COO on the status of key resource management initiatives.

7. Communications (Supportive Role)

  • Act as the liaison between the COO and the Communications lead, ensuring timely and clear communication of key strategies, priorities, and updates across the organization.
  • Oversee the development of internal and external communications, ensuring alignment with the business objectives and messaging consistency.
  • Assist in preparing executive-level communications, including presentations, reports, and stakeholder updates.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Master’s degree in business administration with IT/CS Engineering degree preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a leadership or operational role, preferably in a Cloud Services or Technology Consulting environment.
  • Proven experience in tracking, reporting, and facilitating key initiatives in a high-growth organization.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in budget management, financial analysis, and performance reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and support leaders in achieving their goals.
  • Proficiency in presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Google Slides) with the ability to create professional and compelling executive-level presentations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies, services, and operational models is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of organizing and facilitating leadership meetings and managing follow-up actions.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to influence and drive accountability.
