About The Media Ant:

The Media Ant is an 11-year-old platform for media discovery, planning, and execution of marketing campaigns. We aim to disrupt the traditional process of executing ad campaigns through a physical media agency and replace it with a self-serve advertising platform. The platform works equally well for both online and offline media.

This platform will empower any advertiser, irrespective of their budget and level of marketing understanding, to be able to plan and launch a campaign.

Job Description: 

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy aligned with business goals.
  2. Analyse website traffic and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  3. Collaborate with the development team to address technical SEO issues and ensure website crawlability.
  4. Build high-quality backlinks through effective link-building strategies.
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and best practices.
  6. Monitor and report on SEO performance metrics, including organic traffic, search engine rankings, and conversions.
  7. Work collaboratively with content creators, web developers, and the marketing team to ensure a holistic SEO approach.


Education/Job Experience Required:

  1. Proven experience in SEO roles (4+ years)
  2. Team handling experience of at least 1 year
  3. Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.


Location: Bangalore Onsite


Day-to-Day Work:


  1. Strategic Keyword Research: Lead keyword research, considering search intent and business goals to identify high-value targets.
  2. Content Strategy & Optimization: Develop a content strategy aligned with SEO goals and delegate content optimization tasks to the team.
  3. On-Page SEO Framework: Develop and implement an on-page SEO framework for the team to follow, ensuring consistent optimization practices.
  4. Technical SEO Oversight: Work with developers to identify and prioritize technical SEO issues impacting website performance.
  5. Data-Driven Reporting & Analysis: Analyse SEO data to create reports that showcase the impact of SEO on key business metrics (conversions, and leads).
  6. Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and coach the SEO team, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.


Must Have:

  1. Data-Driven SEO Strategist: Can translate business objectives into actionable SEO strategies and measure their impact through data analysis.
  2. Technical & Content SEO Master: Possess a deep understanding of both technical SEO (website structure, crawl errors) and on-page optimization (content, meta tags) to ensure a holistic approach.
