Job Description : Business Analyst cum Project Manager

A skilled Business Analyst and Project manager is responsible for the implementation and support of business information systems across multiple departments. They identify problems and opportunities within a company and ultimately provide solutions that help achieve the business' goals.


A Business Analyst job description should cover collaborating with financial reporting and IT teams to develop initiatives and strategies that optimise costs and improve internal and external reporting.

- Hands on experience on working with an Agile team

- Requirement Analysis

- Process as is and to be mapping

- User story writing with well defined acceptance criteria

- Preparing Wireframes Prototypes

- Preparing Business Process models : MS Visio , Mindmeister, Power Point

- Translating project needs to applications and operations and acting as an interface between business units, developer's teams, QA and clients

- Functionality Training/knowledge transfer sessions to the other team members.

- Defect resolution and query handling from client, QA, and development team.

- Participate in project walkthroughs : Design Walkthrough functional test plans, etc.

- Manage requirements and related communication with the development team and the QA team

- Handled the client Weekly updates and Deliver the project with demo to the stakeholders

- Analysing the project change requests, Impact Analysis

- Good communication skill both written & spoken

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Act as solution provider for the cluster's software contribution

- Guide integration of the cluster software solutions in the platform

- As scrum master/project manager for the 10+ software team, lead the scrum process, including evaluation and continuous improvement (addressing impediments)

- Contribute to hands-on software development

- Main point of contact regarding issues with the cluster's software

- Maintain deal (handshake) with project leader and group leader on software plan

- Act as software group ambassador

- Support realization of the function road map

- Secure quality of team deliverables

- Coach team members

- Assessment of functional and integration risks

- Address and if necessary escalate bottlenecks

- Interface with vendors for off-the-shelf software products

- Certified Scrum Master certification is plus and have held scrum master role for at least 2 years.

- Should have worked with analytics or data science teams for at least 1 year.

- Should have project management experience of 3 or more years.

- Should have experience of handling business and technology stakeholders across geographies.

- Should be familiar with Jira and Roadmap tools, and be able to drive sprint exercises (planning, backlog, review) and PI planning exercises.

- He/She is expected to hold analyst accountable and monitor project's success and adherence to timelines along with product and program level coordination.

- Scrum Master is expected to handle at least 1-2 scrum teams.

Eligibility :

- Computer Science degree,

- Strong knowledge of Cloud based technologies : AWS (Kinessis, Elasticache, Presto/Athena, SNS, SQS) and migrating between AWS / Azure / Google Cloud

- Strong core Java

- Client side experience with JavaScript, React, Redux

- Experience as a Team Lead or Scrum Master

- Strong architecture and infrastructure development skills

- Experience of designing large scale distributed systems and redesigning monolith systems into microservices
