More details as below.Role: Technical Architect Work Mode: REMOTE, part time Shift: US Shift Seeking an experienced Technical Architect with deep hands-on expertise in NCR POS software and large-scale integrations with enterprise systems and working with US based retail sector.Required Experience10+ years in enterprise architecture/solutions architecture with proven NCR POS implementation experience at scale (multi-site/omnichannel).Core ResponsibilitiesRapid discovery of current POS and upstream/downstream systems; identify integration gaps and risks.Define target architecture, data flows, and API/middleware patterns for high-scale, multi-store deployments.Advise on integration with payments (gateways, tokenization), finance/ERP, loyalty/CRM, inventory, and reporting/analytics.Establish non-functional baselines: performance, reliability, observability, security, compliance (e.g., PCI DSS), and disaster recovery.Provide implementation oversight and knowledge transfer to internal teams.Objective: Assess, design, and guide integration of NCR POS with internal systems (payments, finance/ERP, loyalty/CRM, inventory, data platforms) and establish a scalable reference architecture.Engagement: Independent consultant on an hourly basis to start; open to expanding into a broader advisory or implementation model based on fit.WHAT’S ON OFFERYou will be remunerated with an excellent base salary and entitled to attractive company benefits.
