It is AI as the world's best designer, engineer, architect, and DevOps specialist, all in one — a tool for professionals, enterprises, and ambitious startups who demand speed, quality, and control.If you've ever wanted to lead the engineering vision of a category-defining technology company from day one, this is it.The Opportunity:As our Lead AI Engineering Lead & Manager, you will:- Own the technical architecture of our AI code-generation engine, orchestration pipelines, and multi-model LLM integrations.- Build and lead a high-performing AI/ML engineering team from the ground up.- Translate our product vision into scalable, secure, and performant systems.- Direct the evolution of our prompt-to-production workflow, ensuring developers and non-developers alike get flawless, production-ready results.- Be the technical face of the company alongside the founder, influencing investors, partners, and the developer community.What You'll Lead & Build:AI & Orchestration Layer- Multi-model LLM integration (OpenAI GPT-5, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini)- Prompt parsing, domain-specific language (DSL) translation, and hallucination mitigation- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) for context persistence- AI-generated testing, code review, and documentationFull-Stack Code Generation- Frontend: React / Next.js / Tailwind, React Native for mobile- Backend: Node.js (NestJS) and/or Python (FastAPI) with GraphQL & REST APIs- Automated database schema generation (PostgreSQL/Prisma, Supabase) with MongoDB adapters- Authentication flows, role-based permissions, and secure API integrationsDeveloper Experience- In-browser IDE (Monaco/VS Code engine)- Live preview, CI/CD automation, one-click deployment (Vercel, AWS, GCP, Docker/K8s)- Plugin marketplace & integration APIsPlatform & Infrastructure- Microservices & container orchestration- High-availability, globally distributed infrastructure- Security, compliance, and audit logging for enterprise customersWho Are You:- An exceptional AI/ML engineering leader with experience shipping complex, production-grade systems.- Equally at home writing code, designing architecture, and mentoring teams.- Deeply familiar with LLM architectures, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted developer tooling.- Excited by the 0→1 journey — ambiguity energises you.- Capable of recruiting top-tier engineers and inspiring them to build something truly transformational.- Comfortable interfacing with founders, product managers, and enterprise clients.- Obsessed with developer experience and the quality of generated code.What You Bring:- 7+ years in software engineering with at least 3 years in an AI/ML leadership role.- Strong background in backend architecture and frontend frameworks.- Proven experience with LLM APIs, LangChain/LlamaIndex, RAG pipelines.- Expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure, container orchestration).- Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams.- A track record of shipping high-impact, scalable software products.What We Offer:- Competitive salary with flexibility for global talent.- Direct collaboration with the founder, leadership team & extensive development team.- An environment where your technical vision shapes the company.- The chance to lead one of the most ambitious AI engineering projects in the world.Location:- Headquarters: Sydney, Australia- Open to work from Sydney / Melbourne / Ahmedabad / Bangalore / San Francisco / remotely with optional relocation support.- Occasional travel for in-person product sprints and team offsites.How to Apply:Apply via LinkedIn or send your CV, GitHub/portfolio, and a short note on why you're excited to build the most advanced AI-powered development platform in the world to: jobs@softwareco.com.
