Hi,We are looking for an experiencedPerformance Managerto lead and manage the performance management framework across dedicated Business Units (BUs). The role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving performance evaluation processes, linking performance outcomes to rewards, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and values. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding ofperformance management systems, data analytics, business partnering, and incentive/bonus plan design .Location: Pune Experience: 10-16 years Work Mode: Work from officePerformance Management:Drive end-to-end performance management processes (goal setting, mid-year and annual reviews, calibration, and feedback). Partner with BU Heads and HRBPs to ensure consistent and fair evaluation practices. Design and implement performance improvement and development plans for underperforming employees. Ensure timely completion of appraisal cycles and data accuracy in performance systems. Facilitate performance calibration sessions and ensure alignment with organizational philosophy. Leverage data to identify performance trends and provide insights to leadership.Performance Bonus / Incentive Management:Design and manage thePerformance Bonus and Variable Pay Plansin alignment with business results and HR strategy. Partner with Finance and Rewards teams to ensure payout calculations, budget alignment, and compliance. Conduct periodic reviews of incentive plans and recommend enhancements based on market benchmarks and internal effectiveness. Communicate and educate stakeholders on the link between performance and rewards.Business Partnering:Act as a strategic advisor to BU leaders on performance strategy and talent differentiation. Support succession planning and leadership development initiatives. Work closely with HRBPs to ensure employee engagement and retention through performance insights.Process Improvement & Analytics:Continuously enhance performance management processes through automation, analytics, and feedback. Use data analytics tools (Excel, Power BI, or similar) to provide reports and dashboards for leadership. Maintain governance and ensure adherence to performance management policies and procedures.Required Skills & Competencies:Deep understanding ofPerformance Management Systems (PMS)and frameworks (e.g., OKRs, Balanced Scorecard, SMART goals, Bell Curve). Strong grasp ofVariable Pay / Bonus Plan Design , Pay-for-Performance philosophy. Excellent stakeholder management, business acumen, and influencing skills. Data-driven mindset with ability to interpret metrics and provide insights. Expertise in usingHRIS / PMS tools(SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle, Workday, or similar). Exceptional communication, facilitation, and analytical skills. High attention to detail and process orientation.Educational Qualifications:MBA / Postgraduate in HR, Business Management, or equivalent from a reputed institute. Certifications in Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits, or HR Analytics will be an added advantage.Experience:Minimum10 years of total HR experience , with at least5 years in performance management or rewards . Proven track record of managing performance management processes for large-scale or multiple BUs. Experience in designing and managing variable pay / performance bonus programs.
