Your Role : This is a Senior Python Developer position focused on developing applications, extensions, and services for NVIDIA Omniverse using OpenUSD. In this role, you will work on extensions, UI components, and 3D collaboration features, contributing to a powerful Kit application for data visualization, analysis, and simulation in industrial environments. The position is based in Pune and requires 7 to 10 years of experience. This is a full-time role.Responsibilities : - Develop and maintain Python-based extensions and services for NVIDIA Omniverse.- Build and enhance UI components and 3D collaboration features.- Contribute to high-performance applications for data visualization, analysis, and simulation.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions.- Optimize code for performance, including debugging and profiling.Your Profile : We are looking for a Senior Python Developer with advanced Python programming skills and experience in computer graphics or simulation to develop applications, extensions, and services for NVIDIA Omniverse using OpenUSD.Must-Have Criteria : - 7 to 10 years of experience.- Advanced Python skills with strong abilities in object-oriented and modular design.- Background in computer graphics, simulation, computer vision, or applied mathematics.- Practical experience with OpenUSD, including scene composition, layering, variants, and schema development.- Familiarity with UI frameworks : Qt, PySide, or Omniverse's native UI tools.- Knowledge of version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab) and workflows.- Strong skills in debugging, profiling, and performance optimization.Desired Skills : - Experience with NVIDIA Omniverse Kit, custom extensions, or USD schema/pipeline tool development.- Familiarity with unit testing and CI tools (pytest, unittest, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).- Basic knowledge of C/C++, especially for performance-critical or USD-related code.- Experience with simulation engines, AI/ML workflows, or real-time engines (Unreal, Unity).
