Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with expertise in Selenium and Playwright to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have 2 to 4 years of professional experience in automated testing, with a strong focus on web application testing using Selenium and Playwright frameworks.

As an Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automated testing processes.

Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Playwright frameworks.

- Collaborate with software developers and quality assurance teams to define test cases and acceptance criteria.

- Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects and performance issues.

- Participate in test planning, estimation, and strategy discussions.

- Identify opportunities for test automation and implement efficient solutions to improve testing processes.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate automated tests into continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.

- Investigate and troubleshoot test failures, providing detailed reports and recommendations for resolution.

- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in test automation and apply them to enhance our testing strategies.

- Contribute to the overall improvement of software development processes by advocating for test automation principles and quality standards.

- Mentor junior members of the team and provide guidance on test automation best practices.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 2 to 4 years of professional experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation.

- Strong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver and Playwright frameworks for web application testing.

- Experience in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.

- Familiarity with test automation tools like TestNG, JUnit, Mocha, or Jasmine.

- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and practices.

- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for test automation scripts.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
